Cinnamon Roll Protein Oats with Stewed Apples

A cozy, blood sugar-friendly breakfast that makes four servings for the week — packed with fiber, healthy fats, and my favorite: beef protein powder.

Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients

Oats

Stewed Apples

  • 2 green apples, chopped

  • 1 tbsp ghee

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

To Top

  • Purely Elizabeth ancient grains granola

Instructions

  1. Add oats, chia seeds, milk, cinnamon, and sea salt to a medium saucepan. Simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. Remove from heat and stir in the beef protein powder until well combined. Let sit to thicken.

  3. In a skillet, heat ghee and add apples and cinnamon. Cook for 8–10 minutes until soft and lightly caramelized.

  4. Top oats with stewed apples and granola. Store leftovers in the fridge for a quick, balanced meal later in the week.

*I’ve tested this recipe with organic whole milk and Califia organic vanilla almond milk. The ratio works for both but might require a slightly longer simmer time.
